The head of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar, announced that they are ready to make a partial concession on the issue of the Israeli prisoners to the Palestinian resistance in exchange for the release of the Israeli occupation of the elderly and sick prisoners as a humanitarian initiative in light of the Corona crisis.

Al-Sinwar said in an interview yesterday with Al-Aqsa TV that the consultations of the prisoners' deal had stopped since the beginning of the political crisis inside Israel.

He added that they had conveyed a message to all mediators that it is not possible to start negotiations on a new deal before releasing the prisoners of the Shalit deal who were re-arrested.

On the other hand, Al-Sinwar said that they are ready to compel the Israeli occupation to introduce aid to the sector in the event of an increase in the number of people infected with the Corona virus in the sector and their need for respirators or food.

He added, in response to statements made earlier by the Israeli Defense Minister, Naftali Bennett, "If we find that the people of Corona in the Gaza Strip cannot breathe, we will cut off the soul of six million Zionists, and we will take what we want from you."

Bennett had linked the provision of any assistance to support the efforts of the Gaza Strip in the fight against the Corona virus, to the extent of the progress made by Israel in its attempt to restore the Israeli prisoners of Palestinian resistance.
