Dubai Knowledge and Human Development Authority has stated that the families of students in private schools in the emirate are not required to pay school bus fees for the third semester, in light of the Ministry of Education’s decision to continue applying the “distance learning” system until the end of the current school year, for students of different educational levels in All state schools.


The authority told «Emirates Today»: “If the student’s parents pay the school bus fees for the third semester, he must communicate with the service provider to agree between them on a mechanism for recovering these fees.” Stressing that the students, the school and the service provider can reach a common formula for refunding the bus fees School for the third semester, taking into account the circumstances of all parties.


In its response to a question for the families of the students on its website about the payment of the fees for the third semester, the commission clarified that “the students’ families should continue to pay the school fees during the distance learning period, and if they are going through difficult financial conditions, they are unable to pay the tuition fees Due, we invite schools and students ’families to work together to reach a settlement acceptable to both parties. We are all confident of everyone’s cooperation and standing together in facing the current challenges.”


On the other hand, students of private schools in Dubai received letters from their departments, inviting them to visit them to recover the fees for school buses paid for the third semester.


They said that they received messages from their children's schools via e-mail, inviting them to audit schools to recover part of the school bus fees for the third semester, in exchange for the student not benefiting from the service, because of "distance learning", or calculating this amount from the fees for the next school year .
