The outbreak of the newly created Corona virus is accelerating in different parts of the world, and while the total number of infected people exceeds 700,000 infected globally, Spain has recorded a record daily death toll.

During the past 24 hours, Spain recorded 838 deaths in Coruna, in a new record for the third day in a row, taking the number of deaths in the country to more than 6500.

Spain became the world's second largest number of deaths after Italy, and the total number of injuries also increased to 78,797 from 72,248 the previous day.

To curb the spread of the virus, Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said in a televised address to the Spanish people on Saturday night that all non-essential workers must stay in homes for two weeks in the latest government action to combat the epidemic.

In Italy, the Italian Civil Protection Authority said today, Sunday, that the number of deaths due to the Corona virus rose 756 to 10779 cases.

The number of deaths in Italy is by far the largest of any other country in the world and represents more than a third of the total number of deaths due to the virus worldwide.

In Britain, British Minister of Housing Robert Jenrick said that all parts of Britain have been in an emergency situation like no other since World War II to fight the Corona virus, and that strategic coordination centers have been set up across the country.

The measure was taken amid warnings that infection rates are increasing rapidly, while new figures revealed on Sunday that the total number of deaths from the virus has reached 1,228 deaths in Britain.

The number reveals the death of 209 people during the past 24 hours, while 127,737 people were tested in Britain, and 19522 were confirmed infected with the virus.

In France, the latest figures indicate that an additional 292 deaths from the Corona virus were recorded within 24 hours, which raises the total death toll in that country to 2606, according to Director-General of Health Jerome Salomon on Sunday.

According to the new toll, 19,354 injured people are in hospitals, among them 4,632 are in the resuscitation department, while 7,132 patients have been able to return to their homes.

In the United States, US President Donald Trump has removed from imposing isolation on New York State, which includes about half of the country’s more than 135,000 casualties, as well as in New Jersey and Connecticut.

At Trump's request, health authorities called on residents of the three states to avoid non-essential movements within the next 14 days.

As for Algeria, it recorded 57 new cases of Coronavirus, bringing the number of infected people to 511 and two new deaths.

While the Moroccan Ministry of Health recorded 104 new infections with the Corona virus during the past 24 hours, taking the total to 463 cases.

The number of deaths reached 26 after two new deaths were recorded in the virus, while the number of recoveries reached 13.

As for Jordan, the number of injured people exceeded 250 after 13 new injuries were recorded, with two deaths recorded.

In Syria, the Syrian SANA agency reported, quoting the Ministry of Health, that it had announced the first death of the Coronavirus.

The ministry added that four new cases were recorded, bringing the total death toll in the regime's control areas to nine.

For its part, the National Center for Disease Control in Libya announced that the number of people infected with Coronavirus has risen to eight, after five new infections were recorded today.

The Ministry of Health in the Government of National Accord, in cooperation with the Military Medicine Authority in Tripoli, distributed medical equipment, which the government recently imported to confront the Corona pandemic.

The Government of National Accord also decided to release more than 400 prisoners as part of its plan to address the emerging outbreak of the Corona virus.

In Saudi Arabia, 96 new infections were recorded, bringing the total number to 1269. Four people died, bringing the total to eight deaths.

In Iraq, 41 new infections were recorded, bringing the total number to 547. In addition, 26 new cases were registered in Lebanon, bringing the total to 438.

In Kuwait, 20 new injuries were recorded today, increasing their number to 255, while the Palestinian government announced that the total number increased to 108.

In the Sultanate of Oman, 15 new infections were recorded, bringing the total to 167.
