The State of Qatar welcomed the decision of the Kingdom of Bahrain to evacuate Bahraini citizens who stopped in the Qatari capital, Doha, coming from Iran, in light of the spread of the new Corona virus.

"We wish that the Kingdom of Bahrain had accepted the offer of the State of Qatar to transfer its citizens to the Kingdom of Bahrain on the private plane that was equipped to transport them instead of prolonging the waiting of the Bahraini brothers," the Qatari government contact office said in a statement Sunday evening in a statement.

The social networks witnessed a campaign to urge the Bahraini authorities to take urgent action to return their stranded citizens.

He rejected the country offer
The Qatari officials communicated with their Bahraini counterparts and offered to return 31 Bahraini citizens stuck at Doha Airport on a private plane without Bahrain or the individuals concerned to bear the costs of the trip, but the Bahraini side rejected this option, according to a statement from the Qatari government contact office yesterday, Saturday.

The office said today that the State of Qatar, affirming "its permanent readiness to play its humanitarian role in light of this global crisis, it regrets the allegations made by the Kingdom of Bahrain, false accusations and politicization of the humanitarian situation of its citizens."

"This step remains a step in the right direction, as this is what the State of Qatar has requested during its communication with the relevant authorities in the Kingdom of Bahrain," the statement added.

Corona examinations
The Qatar Liaison Office indicated that "in the interest of the safety of the Bahraini brothers, the Ministry of Public Health in the State of Qatar will communicate with its counterpart in the Kingdom of Bahrain to inform them of the results of the examinations that were conducted, with our wishes for a health and safety time."

The Qatari side had initially contacted Bahrain to inquire about the optimal way for Bahraini citizens to return to their country, in light of Bahrain's failure to allow Qatar commercial aircraft to cross.

The director of the media office in the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed bin Saeed Al-Rumaihi, said in a tweet on Twitter, that Bahraini citizens have been bombarded with airports for a month, and now only the Bahraini authorities ask about their safety.
