Trudeau said that although his wife had been notified from her doctor on the 28th that he had recovered and that he had no symptoms, he had been living "under the same roof with a patient who tested positive for the new crown".

"I must continue with quarantine to ensure that we comply with all Health Canada regulations and recommendations," Trudeau said.

Since doctors don't know when Sophie got rid of the virus, Trudeau said he will observe for another 14 days. Trudeau has been self-quarantine since Sophie was positive on March 12.
