The Director of Umm Al Quwain Civil Defense Department, Dr. Salem Hamad Bin Hamda, said that the mechanisms of civil defense in Umm Al Quwain participated in the mechanisms of Umm Al Quwain Municipality in the national sterilization program, which begins during the weekend period starting from eight o'clock Thursday evening until six o'clock in the morning on Sunday, corresponding to 29 March 2020
He added that the national sterilization program comes in the interest of the nation, the citizen, residents, visitors and the safety of society.
In Ras Al Khaimah, Ras Al Khaimah police and the competent authorities participated in the national sterilization program, whereby stores were sterilized in front of commercial areas, public areas, open markets and public facilities, where a full commitment was made by the residents to stay in their homes according to the state’s instructions within the precautionary measures to prevent the Corona virus. .
