It was at 19 that a man must have been assaulted and abused in central Örebro, which Nerikes Allehanda was the first to report on.
The incident was initially classified as abusive but at a quarter past eight on Friday evening it was announced that the person had died from his injuries.
A technical investigation of the site will be initiated and the site and the surrounding area will be searched by several police patrols.
Police knocked on Friday night's door in the area.
At 21.35, police announced that a person had been arrested on suspicion of murder. The police have also arrested several people for questioning, but they have so far not been served any suspicion of crime.
The dead has been identified, confirms police spokesman Lars Hedelin for TT. But he does not want to go into age or anything else about the victim.
