■ The criminal court in Dubai has commenced an African visiting trial that brought and possessed more than 2.6 kilograms of marijuana, which it concealed in two plastic bags, according to the investigations of the Public Prosecution in Dubai.
■ The Public Prosecution referred to the Dubai Criminal Court five Asians accused of using valid official documents (ID cards belonging to others), submitting them to the two telecommunications companies, and seized the phone cards owned by the two companies.
Investigations revealed that one of the defendants embezzled the cards that were handed over to him for delivery to their owners, and he handed them over to the defendants who used them to obtain SIM cards.
