The streets of Sharjah city appeared free of cars and the public, during sterilization operations for public and private facilities, roads, sidewalks and bridges, which were carried out by the competent teams in the Municipality of Sharjah, in cooperation and coordination with the General Command of the Emirate Police, which lasts three days.
He pointed out that all police teams sent out awareness messages, through their patrols, and drones, in various Arabic, English and Urdu languages, and urged them to stay in their homes, and not go out except for the necessity, pointing out that these campaigns had positive results by the residents of the city of Sharjah, They evacuated the streets, which facilitated the sterilization of the teams.
Ajman police assured «Emirates Today» that the residents of the emirate have implemented the instructions of the competent authorities that called for restricting traffic and the movement of the public during times of implementation of the national sterilization program, pointing out that their commitment rate was 100%, and contributed significantly to the success of the sterilization process.
Meanwhile, the Commander in Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, head of the local emergency, crisis and disaster team, Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, told «Emirates Today» that “the proportion of the population in Ras Al Khaimah’s commitment to the state’s instructions to stay at home has reached 99% with The beginning of the application of the instructions and until now ».
