Several regions have witnessed an unprecedented rise in Corona injuries, and the Italian "tragedy" has turned into a terrifying paradigm in the old continent, amid fears of a second wave of injuries in Asia, the cradle of the epidemic.

And the Saudi Ministry of Health announced that 119 new cases of the virus were recorded, 72 of which were discovered in a hotel in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, in a state of astonishment throughout the world due to the expansion of Corona.

Ministry spokesman Muhammad al-Abd al-Aali told a news conference that after the new injuries, the total number had risen to 511, while 17 cases had recovered.

Al-Abdulali explained that the biggest cause of these injuries is mixing and lack of commitment to preventing gatherings.

The Corona virus has so far caused the deaths of about 13.5 thousand people in the world since it appeared last December, and more than 308 thousand infections have been officially recorded in more than 170 countries.

Curfew in Kuwait
The Kuwaiti government decided to impose a partial curfew from five in the evening until four in the morning in the procedures to confront the virus, and announced the registration of 12 new infections, bringing the number to 188, while three new cases recovered, raising the number of those recovering to 30.

In Oman , the authorities prevented gatherings in public places, reduced the number of employees in government agencies, and registered three new cases, bringing the number of injured to 55, while 17 recovered.

In Morocco , the number of injuries reached 109, of which three recovered. As for the deaths, it reached three.

Sisi speaks
In Egypt, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi warned that the number of people infected with the Coronavirus could reach thousands of cases within a few days if we did not deal with the matter seriously.

Al-Sisi called on Egyptians to help the state to face the biggest crisis it might face, and said that the Corona crisis was dealt with transparently from the start, and that government data reflects reality.

He added that he is working to prevent the Egyptian people from being harmed in any way by the virus, declaring that 100 billion pounds have been allocated to confront the epidemic.

Sisi addressed the Egyptians, saying, "We sit two weeks committed," and we need "more commitment, responsibility, seriousness, discipline and caution, so we do not want the size of the injuries to increase."

Cairo announced yesterday evening two new deaths and nine new cases of the virus, bringing the number of victims to 294, 10 of whom died, and 41 recovered.

In Jordan , Prime Minister Omar Al-Razzaz said - in an interview with Al-Jazeera - that his government does not seek to intimidate the Jordanians, but rather to assure them, stressing the government's readiness to deal with the worst possible scenarios.

The Minister of Education, Tayseer Al-Nuaimi, announced the launch of a platform to teach students remotely, stressing that the Ministry will launch a training program for teachers to follow the students electronically.

17 Algerian states
In Algeria, the Ministry of Health announced that the country has entered the stage of the Coruna epidemic, after recording HIV infections in 17 states.

The ministry revealed that the number of HIV cases has risen to 201.

Regarding measures to curb the spread of the epidemic, the Minister of Health, Abdel-Rahman Bin Bouzid, said that the President of the Republic is the only one authorized to declare a comprehensive quarantine nationwide.

Ben Bouzid suggested that there are people infected with the virus but they did not apply to health institutions, and stressed that most of those who died of the virus were not under medical supervision.

As for Tunisia, it announced that the number of deaths from the virus has risen to three, and that the number of cases reached 75, after discovering 15 new cases.

Announcing the first case in Syria
On Sunday, Damascus recorded the first infection with the Corona virus, according to the Ministry of Health.

Minister Nizar Yazigi said in a statement to the official television of the regime, that "the first case of coronavirus in Syria has been registered for a person coming from outside the country," explaining that "necessary measures have been taken to deal with it."

Emergency in the occupied territories
A Palestinian government spokesman confirmed that the number of people infected with the virus has risen to 59 after 6 new infections were recorded, two of which were Palestinians from the Gaza Strip who recently returned from Pakistan via Egypt.

For his part, Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh revealed emergency measures that obligate citizens to stay in their homes for 14 days, as preventive measures to curb the spread of the epidemic.

The measures included prohibiting movement between governorates and between villages, camps and cities, and not allowing Palestinians in the Green Line to enter and leave the West Bank.

The movement is restricted to medical and security personnel and essential professions under special permits.

The Palestinian government called on the United Nations to put pressure on Israel to release the detainees, fearing they will develop corona.

In Israel, the Ministry of Health revealed 62 new infections, bringing the number to 945 cases.

The occupation authorities have started applying the emergency measures they have taken to cope with the outbreak of the virus, and they continue for an extended week.

Israeli radio reported that the police and other security services are following the implementation, and they are following the violators of the orders that obliged all Israelis to stay in their homes and not to allow gathering or movement in cars for more than two people. The orders also impose not to go to workplaces, except for workers in the necessary jobs.

Extending the ban in Iraq
In Iraq , the ministerial crisis cell announced the extension of the curfew and the suspension of working hours until next Saturday to limit the spread of the Corona virus. The curfew entered its fifth consecutive day in Baghdad and other Iraqi cities.

In a tragic outcome, Italy announced on Sunday that the number of Corona deaths has increased to about 5.5 thousand, after 651 new cases were registered during the last 24 hours.

As a result, Italy ranks first in the world in terms of the number of deaths due to Corona, while the number of injuries on its territory exceeds 53 thousand.

The Italian Prime Minister announced a series of additional measures to curb the spread of the virus, including the closure of companies and the cessation of any productive activity in the country, except for what provides basic services. Public services such as health, food and transportation, as well as postal and banking services, will be maintained.

Fears prevail in Europe, which was considered by the World Health Organization as a focus of the Corona outbreak, about the repetition of the Italian scenario.

In Turkey , Minister of Health Fakhruddin Kuja said that 9 people died from HIV infection, bringing the total number of deaths to 30. The number of confirmed infections also increased by 289, bringing the total number to 1256.

The minister stated that the total checks carried out by the authorities amounted to 20,345 people.

Is it a second wave in Asia?
After the number of infections in Asia exceeds 95,000, questions arise if the continent is witnessing a second wave of the epidemic.

The death of the first doctor in France
In another development in France, the Minister of Health Olivier Ferrand announced today, Sunday, the death of the first doctor after he was infected with the Corona virus.

The deceased is an emergency doctor in a hospital in the city of Compiegne, in the Lwaz region, which was the first to be severely affected in the country, according to the official channel "France 24".

A senior Health Ministry official said that 112 people died today from the virus, which brings the total number to 674. The number of infections rose by 1559 to over 16,000.

New York .. a disaster area
US President Donald Trump has declared New York State a disaster area because it contains about half of Corona virus infections and deaths in the United States, noting that he is considering circulating this declaration to other states, including California.

This comes while the number of virus deaths in the country rose to about 350, and the number of infected people was approximately 27,000.

Africa
While Africa has so far remained among the regions least affected by the epidemic, doubts remain as to how far it can survive.
