On the other hand, in a reaction rejecting this cancellation, the author Stephen King tweeted, expressing his "turbulent" feelings about the book that the house refused to publish, saying, "Hachette’s decision to cancel the publication of Woody Allen's book makes me very uncomfortable, and my distress is not for a personal reason, I do not care for the master. Allen, the effect of this ban is what worries me, that no matter what Allen did, it should not contradict the publication of his memoirs, because the book is intended to be a deep dive into the life and profession of man and to reveal the professional and personal relationships he fought, and it should have happened without this ban Or community oversight. "

The Hachette decision to drop the Woody Allen book makes me very uneasy. It's not him; I don't give a damn about Mr. Allen. It's who gets muzzled next that worries me.
