The CDC has announced that 36 people in 17 states have been poisoning by eating this Korean enoki mushroom sold in the United States, killing all four.

In particular, he added that six pregnant women had symptoms of infection and two were miscarried.

When infected with Listeria, it causes various symptoms such as high fever, muscle pain, and diarrhea. It is known that pregnant women and elderly people are particularly dangerous.

The CDC advised against eating Korean enoki mushrooms until further notice.

The FDA and the Food and Drug Administration also ordered this importer to recall all Korean Enoki mushrooms.
