When Kungsbacka's politicians in 2018 tried to get through a ban on passive fundraising - commonly called begging - in the local statutes, the County Administrative Board reversed the decision. The reason was that the decision swept over an oversized geographical area.

What has happened since then is Vellinge Municipality in Skåne passed a begging ban in the Supreme Court by clearly clarifying a number of geographical places where the ban should apply.

A month ago, the Kungsbacka politicians decided on the same model. And now it gets the clear sign from the County Administrative Board that does not choose to cancel the decision this time.

The Ordinance has a "reasonable geographical demarcation and a sufficiently clear design", the County Administrative Board writes in its decision that P4 Halland reported on during the day.
