He does not want to include his last name, picture or the company he works for in the article. SVT News West has talked to several people in the same situation as Mattias, and everyone feels the same. It could be summarized as unresolved.

- It feels uncomfortable. I don't want customers who google my name to get this first of all, he says.

It was last Wednesday that Mattias flew home from Munich. Yesterday he got the call from the infection control unit in Västra Götaland.

"They told me that a person who was found to be infected by the corona virus had put a certain number of rows from me on the aircraft, and that there was a risk that I was also infected," he says.

Feels safe

It was not a funny message, but he still feels that it is safe for the infection protection unit to ring.

- Yes, I must say. They still seem to be “on top of things”, have a look. It was confidence building and they should have "cred" for it, he says.

During the conversation, Mattias was asked not to go to work today, but to stay at home as much as possible until next week on Wednesday. Above all, he would avoid going to places where he could meet many others, such as restaurants and pubs.

But he's not whipped to sit on the couch and read through all the Netflix series now.

- Haha, unfortunately not. I work for a large international company, and can work from home quite a lot anyway, he says.

Also kills cohabitants

But it's not just Mattias who can stay home. So does his partner Linda. Her large workplace has provided clear directives, and she may not come to work until next week on Thursday.

- It's a bit of mixed feelings on her part, Mattias thinks.

He has not felt the slightest symptoms, feels completely healthy and does not think he is infected.

"But I understand that this is a pretty big thing, and I understand why they want me to stay home," he says.
