From our correspondent in Beijing,

Zhou, 29, is one of the Chinese who returned to work very quickly, despite the epidemic. Its factory which produces LED bulbs resumed its activity on February 19, not without taking certain sanitary measures: “ We have a team which cleans the factory every day with disinfectant, and each employee must have their temperature checked at entry and wash your hands regularly. Before entering our workspace, we must put on a single-use protective suit and the company has reserved 1,000 masks for us. "

Others are less fortunate and are stigmatized for their origin, like this worker chased from his factory in Shenzhen, because he is from Hubei, home of the epidemic.

I was told that I was no longer allowed to work here because I come from Wuhan. After paying my bills, I won't have 1,000 yuan left, the equivalent of a month's salary, ”he testified.

1,000 yuan, about 130 euros for this 50-year-old employee who does not know how long he will have to hold out of work. Other companies have also closed the door to him for the same reason.
