According to her, starting in January, the specialists of the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology of St. Petersburg simultaneously with the scientists of the Novosibirsk center "Vector" tested the coronavirus diagnostic system.
In an interview with the Petersburg Diary, the expert noted that during the tests the accuracy of the method was confirmed.
“The state registration for this test system was obtained, and it can be used. Just last week we got permission. Now we give answers based on the research we have received, ”explained Irina Chkhineriya.
She added that with the introduction of a new diagnostic method, the time spent in hospital for patients with suspected coronavirus was significantly reduced.
