On February 25, the Philippine government sent two charter flights to Japan to pick up 445 Filipino citizens on the "Diamond Princess". The two planes arrived at Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines at 2210 hours on the 25th and 00:12 on the 26th.

According to the latest statistics from the Philippine Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the first charter flight carried 309 evacuees, as well as 2 Philippine Ministry of Foreign Affairs officials and 4 medical staff. The second charter took 136 evacuees, as well as 2 Philippine Foreign Ministry officials and 5 medical staff.

At present, all evacuees and those involved in assisting the evacuation have been sent to the athlete village of New Clark, where they will be quarantined for 14 days. There are 538 Filipino citizens onboard the Diamond Princess, including 531 crew members and 7 passengers. As of the 25th, 80 of these people have been diagnosed with new coronary pneumonia.
