The agreement will take effect from April 1 next year, when the old agreement expires. The new agreement includes about 10 full-time services and means that the security guards are on duty with at least two security vehicles around the clock, except for 2.5 hours in the middle of the night when only one car is on duty.
- It will be a more powerful watch than at present. Through the close cooperation with the officials at the security unit, the security organization becomes part of the planning of efforts for increased security and safety in the municipality's operations. The effects of good planning mean that no extra orders from the security services business will be needed, says Richard Tjernström, security manager, in a press release.
According to the municipality, the cost of guarding services in recent years has been between SEK 5 and seven million per year. The new service will cost SEK 6 million per year.
