Ajman Society for Social and Cultural Development organized a dialogue session entitled "The family in light of smart devices", as part of a series of events organized by community groups to raise awareness of the most important methods to be followed to reduce negative phenomena.

Dr. Obaid Al-Mukhtan, a lecturer at the University of Sharjah, and Maryam Abdul-Jabbar, a major religious guide in the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Work in Dubai, participated in the session, as they gave a detailed explanation of the negative aspects of the use of smart devices and the most important penalties stipulated in the laws if used incorrectly, in addition to Providing the most important causes of the excessive use of smart devices in the lives of individuals.

The Director General of Ajman Society for Social and Cultural Development Mona Al Matroushi said that the session comes within a series of annual events organized by the association to educate community members about negative phenomena and their risks to them, pointing to the importance of educating families about the excessive use of smart devices in the home and its negative effects on children, noting some laws and legislations in the country That specializes in electronic crime and fighting it, indicating that there were people who were subjected to electronic blackmail due to the excessive use of websites and resulted in many societal and psychological effects.
