It was during about a month's time in February and the beginning of March last year that the man ravaged the streets of Eskilstuna. In total, twelve women reported that they had been ill-treated by the man, who in several cases must have sprayed or placed skin cream on the women's backs or buttocks in connection with his tapping on the women.

"All the women who have reported have provided similar information about the approach, but I have only chosen to prosecute in four cases because in the other reports it was not possible to establish that it was one and the same person," said chamber prosecutor Thomas Bergström.

The prosecutor's main evidence is partly based on unanimous information from the four prosecutors and technical evidence that places the accused's mobile phone on the site of one of the acts. Even a surveillance film has captured the suspected perpetrator a second before he commits an offense.

- The suspect is dressed in a very spectacular jacket here, a similar jacket that was later found at his home during the house search. Several landlords have described that the man would have just such a jacket on, there is also a selfie picture of the man wearing the same jacket in his mobile phone.

"The prosecutor has prosecuted the wrong person"

The suspected man refuses a crime.

"He thinks the prosecutor has prosecuted the wrong person," said the man's lawyer Tobias Israelsson.

According to the defense, the prosecutor's evidence will not hold for a convict.

- The designations available are not sufficient for a convict. The way the plaintiffs describe the perpetrator is in harmony with my principal, and in addition, two of them have identified other men than my client in a photo confrontation.
