Ahmed Saeed Al-Nuaimi, stated that at about ten thirty in the evening on Sunday, a phone call was received regarding the occurrence of a murder in Al-Liywara 1 area near the Eid Prayer Ground, and to move to the location of the crime, the body of a person of Asian nationality was found He was subjected to several stab wounds in his body, the location of the crime was seized, the crime scene department was summoned and the Public Prosecution was informed, and by collecting information and investigating some of the people present at the crime scene it was found that the victim was accompanied by 3 other people in a restaurant, and suddenly one of them assaulted The victim by a white weapon and was able to topple him and stabbed him several stab wounds and then escaped from the crime scene and boarded a taxi and fled with the other two people who were with him in the same location.
Accordingly, a working group was formed from the Department of Investigations, and the taxi vehicle that the killer boarded was identified and where he was heading to Sharjah Airport and then headed to the Emirate of Dubai, and the police were able to access the information of the accused and his Asian nationality, and the tool used in the murder was found as a white weapon The accused placed him in the taxi that he boarded after committing the crime, thus the crime tool was seized and the other two persons who were accompanying the murderer were identified and seized.
He added that the next day, in coordination with the Dubai Police, the perpetrator was arrested in the Bur Dubai area, just 18 hours after the crime took place, and on investigation with him he confessed to killing the victim because of financial differences, and the necessary legal measures were taken, the accused was arrested, and the case was transferred to the Public Prosecution To investigate the circumstances of the case.
