During the hearing, the debates focused mainly on the access door to the swimming pool. Maintained by a wedge, it was often open to facilitate the work of maintenance workers. "I was against installing this wedge but I was not strict enough," admitted the former manager, quoted by Ouest-France.
Following the requisitions of the prosecution, the court on Wednesday sentenced the manager to a fine of 30,000 euros. A new hearing on civil interests is scheduled for April 6.
