“I hope that you are not indifferent to the fate of journalists in Ukraine and Europe,” RIA Novosti quoted Vyshinsky as saying.

He also handed over a letter from the agency sent to the President of the Council of Europe.

“I thank you for your support and for the meeting,” the journalist added.

Earlier, Kirill Vyshinsky announced his hope for the active work of the Russian delegation in PACE on the conflict around Sputnik Estonia.

On January 1, Sputnik Estonia switched to emergency operation.

It was noted that agency employees were forced to terminate their employment with the editorial board due to the threat of criminal prosecution.
