Earlier, Krasheninnikov said that the working group received 17 proposals, framed as amendments.

He said that the two amendments received related to the preamble to the Constitution, and other proposals related to its first and second chapters.

On January 23, the State Duma approved in a first reading the presidential bill amending the Constitution.

Representatives of the president when considering the draft are the co-chairs of the constitutional commission - the chairman of the Duma committee on state building and legislation, Pavel Krasheninnikov, senator Andrei Klishas and the director of the Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the government Taliya Khabrieva.
