Suspected abuse at two high schools in the county

At 11:30 on Monday, police were ordered to a school in Vännäs where a person must have been taken to hospital, according to VK.

- One student was beaten and taken to hospital. The injury scene is unclear, but he has had a blow to the head. We have two suspects who are in high school age and resident in Vännäs municipality. We label it as gross abuse, depending on the nature of the violence. No incitements have been involved, Elinor Carlsson Demby, Group Manager at the Vännäs Police, tells VK.

At 15 o'clock on the same day, the police receive information about a possible fight at a high school in Umeå. There it appears that two people have been abused, but should not have received any more serious injuries according to initial information.

The police have heard witnesses on the scene and a total of three reports of abuse have been made.
