Two journalists dismissed by Liberation after the affair of the "League of lol", Vincent Glad and Alexandre Hervaud, contest this week their dismissal before the industrial tribunal of Paris.

The lawyer of Vincent Glad challenged Tuesday the dismissal of the freelancer of Liberation for "damage to the mark". The journalist, formerly of Slate and Canal +, was dismissed in February 2019 after the publication of numerous articles on a Facebook group he had founded in 2010, the "Ligue du lol".

Many Internet users had accused several members of the group, and external persons, of having harassed them on the Internet, or of having by their public critics launched digital "packs" on them.

The conciliation session was not conclusive on Tuesday before the industrial tribunal, the file will be examined on April 29.

Contacted by AFP, the management of Liberation was unable to speak on Tuesday.

Alexandre Hervaud, ex-head of the Liberation web service, will also contest his dismissal Thursday before the industrial tribunal. He wants to "show that the reason invoked by Liberation", a "characteristic disorder within the company", does not "hold".
