The Ministry of Health and Community Protection, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education at the International Education Expo 2020, at the Sharjah Expo Center, which concluded its work yesterday, presented a number of scholarships in nursing specialties, within a number of universities in the country, where the Ministry sponsors tuition, transportation and housing fees, in addition to providing Monthly financial incentives for students, with the aim of increasing the number of qualified national nursing personnel to contribute to providing outstanding health care to the community.

The Director of Nursing Administration at the Ministry of Health and Community Protection Dr. Sumaya Al Balushi indicated that the nursing profession receives a high degree of attention and priority in the ministry's strategy, noting that the ministry's plan to enhance the attractiveness of the nursing profession includes three main axes, namely motivation, awareness and information, while the third axis focuses on Education and training to make nursing an attractive profession for Emirati staff.

She pointed out that the ministry’s participation in the exhibition comes in line with its ambitious aspirations to promote the available job opportunities to increase the percentage of national cadres in the nursing, medical, technical and administrative specialties, by offering scholarships in nursing specialties and providing training courses with the aim of attracting and encouraging young citizens to join the nursing corps, and preparing a graduate Distinguished and effective competitive in the labor market.
