Twitter has silenced the official Vox account for "inciting hatred," according to the social network, after the formation of Santiago Abascal on Saturday wrote a tweet in which he accuses the PSOE of "promoting pedophilia with public money."

The secretary of Vox Communication, Guillermo Mariscal, has also made public the blockade on Twitter and added that "the reason is none other than censorship." It all started on Saturday, when the party of the radical right told the vice secretary general of the PSOE, Adriana Lastra, that in Vox they do not support that: "You get into our house and tell us how we have to live and how we have to educate our children. And even less than with public money you promote child abuse. "

This aggressive tweet, which accuses the Government of Spain of promoting serious crimes, was decided by "the Communication team" of the hard right party, as Mariscal explains, in response to a message from Lastra in which he called them "retrograde" .

As a result of that message, Twitter informed Vox on Tuesday that it "temporarily limited" some features of its account, including writing new messages. And he explained the reason: "Failure to comply with the rules that prohibit hate speech behavior." "It is not allowed to threaten, harass or encourage violence against other people," he added.

The social network added that if Vox eliminated the tweet in which he accused the PSOE of promoting child abuse, he would recover his account. But Guillermo Mariscal has announced in his own personal account that they will not, because "we are a legally constituted party, we are third political force in Spain, we represent more than 3.6 million voters and, like us, thousands of Spanish citizens are suffering censorship on Twitter and other social networks. And we say enough. "
