The corresponding statement was published on the page of the Ukrainian diplomatic mission on Twitter.

The report said that "placing the trident, the constitutional national symbol and the coat of arms of Ukraine, in a manual on combating extremism, published by the Anti-Terrorism Directorate for British teachers and medical staff, is more than outrageous."

The diplomatic mission said that "any explanation is unacceptable," and demanded "remove the trident from the manual and make an official apology."

According to RIA Novosti, the NCTPN refused to comment on this statement.

“We cannot comment on and specify exactly which characters are included in the document, because it is intended for a very specific internal audience,” the NCTPN senior national coordinator, Deputy Head of the London Metropolitan Police Dean Haydon, said in a statement.

At the same time, the department noted that "the document includes a number of characters that are not considered extremist or related to violence."
