According to the BLT, she has joined the Party Civil Assembly.
- When I read through their party program carefully last fall, I felt that it was a text that I could have written myself. Everything was right for me, Pilthammar told the magazine.
The party describes itself as a Liberal Conservative Party, and received 0.2 percent of the vote in the last parliamentary election and has a mandate in the municipal councils in Höör, Torsås and Laholm.
Pilthammar's goal is a seat in Sölvesborg's municipal council after the 2022 election, but in the long term also a place in the Riksdag, she says.
In May last year, Emelie Pilthammar was forced to resign after a photo was circulated in social media where she and two politician colleagues from (M) and (SD) in Sölvesborg jokingly addressed group sex.
