It is the ongoing redevelopment of the laser device that has led to the need to switch off the culvert. The property for the new entrance will be built and in connection with the erection of the frame there are risks.

- We cannot guarantee sustainability, it is for safety reasons, says Katarina Josefsson, unit manager for real estate services in the Southern Region of Sörmland.

The shutdown means that both staff and visitors can take other routes that take longer.

- For staff and healthy people it may be about five minutes extra. But for someone who, for example, walks with a walker, it can be about 10 to 15 minutes, says Katarina Josefsson.

Are there any risks that the staff cannot reach as quickly?

- No, we have secured it. Personnel who can receive emergency calls have another way that is faster, but we cannot have it open to visitors.

The culverts are expected to be closed until the end of March.
