- When I came to work a colleague said: what is this, the clock goes wrong? Then I looked at my mobile and it went wrong too, says Kristina Martinell from Överum outside Västervik.

SVT News Småland had contacted several people this week who had been experiencing the same problem, that the cell phone's clock has set itself to go in an hour too fast. Everyone lives in eastern Småland.

May affect Swish

After posting a question on facebook, Kristina Martinell received answers from several who recognized her. One of those who answered on facebook was Helena Levkovic in Odensvi, Västervik municipality. She did not enter either Swish or her mobile bank.

- I would buy a thing online, but could not swish, because the clock does not match. It will be an error message. So it was no business, she says.

Cornelia Lundgren from Södra Vi outside Vimmerby has also been involved in the mysterious mobile bug via facebook, and she found affected friends in Gamleby, Vimmerby, Hultsfred and Virserum.

- I was going home from work an hour early Tuesday. Then my friend called and wondered why I was late, then her watch had also changed, she says.

"The problem should be solved"

When SVT talks to Telia, they say they have found the reason behind the problem. It has to do with an update of Telia's network.

- We regularly update our network to maintain a good quality. In this case, the time has been affected for some people around Småland and Öland, says Magnus Limås press officer at Telia.

The people affected by the problem are those who have been in 3G networks and then moved in different areas where the phone switched to 4G.

- We have corrected it now and the problem should be solved. If the phones still show the wrong time, it is good to restart the mobile phone. We really regret if someone has not been on time or missed some reason for the wrong time, he says.
