According to the Russian Permanent Representative, after the summit in the Norman format, which took place on December 9 in Paris, “there have been no practical changes on this topic.”
“The issue of sending a mission was not put up for discussion in the Security Council,” TASS quoted him as saying.
Polyansky also noted that the 2017 Russian proposal to deploy the UN mission in support of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Donbass “remains on the table.”
Taylor said earlier that the United States supports the idea of introducing UN peacekeeping forces into Donbass.
