The law establishes a fine for citizens in the amount of one and a half to two times the price indicated on the ticket, for officials - from two to three times, for those engaged in entrepreneurship without forming a legal entity - from three to five times the price of a ticket or administrative suspension of activity for up to 90 days.
In June, as reported by the FAN, the head of the State Duma Committee on Culture, Elena Yampolskaya, spoke about the amendments to the bill "on the fight against the ticket mafia."
The State Duma also talked about the reasons for the appearance of ticket speculators.
