12 December 2019 "We will be the useful sentinels of citizens. Only our presence allows us to face the challenges of the future". These are the first words, entrusted to Facebook, by Simone Benini, the new candidate for the M5s in Emilia-Romagna.

"It will be a beautiful challenge that we will all face together, square by square, market by market. As we have always done", Benini writes, of course "that only a strong presence of the M5s in the Legislative Assembly will focus on the issues that interest citizens and challenges of the future and not the usual power struggles between parties ". Benini cites "the defense of public health and common goods such as water, sustainable mobility, the fight against pollution, the development of renewable energies, zero waste policies, sustainable agriculture and the defense of workers' rights and small and medium-sized entrepreneurs and traders up to the fundamental fight against corruption and mafia infiltrations ".
