Abu Dhabi General Services Company "Musanada" and the Municipality of Al Ain City have revealed the completion of 50% of the works for the construction of main and subsidiary irrigation lines and reservoirs for the eastern sector of Al Ain City.

The two parties confirmed that they intend to complete the project fully in the third quarter of 2020.

The project is implemented on an area of ​​30 km, at a cost of 58.4 million dirhams, in cooperation with a number of strategic entities and partners, and 344 workers, engineers and consultants work in it. The project serves the city of Al Ain and the residential and commercial areas adjacent to the international road between the Sultanate of Oman and the Emirates.

The project aims to secure enough recycled water supplies to irrigate current and future vegetation, and to ensure the quantities of water availability for the future, develop natural cosmetic works, as well as sustainable and efficient water use, reduce groundwater use, fully automatic water control, and monitor the irrigation system For the eastern sector.

For its part, “Musanada” indicated that the project works are implementing main and subsidiary irrigation lines, in addition to constructing four tanks for treated irrigation water with a capacity of 900 cubic meters per tank, with the attached pumping station, in the eastern sector areas in Mazyad, Al-Zahir, Umm Ghafa and Al-Khair, as well as Establish irrigation lines to feed tanks and natural cosmetic works. She indicated that the project includes the implementation of cosmetic implants that meet the needs of the residents of the sector in three areas, namely Mazyad, Al-Dhahir and Umm Ghafa, in addition to establishing walkways and bike paths and areas for exercising using fitness equipment, the establishment of walkways and other bike paths within the Mazyad nursery, and from the nursery of Mazyad roundabout to Truck roundabout is seven kilometers long.
