The Agen-Toulouse match, counting for the 11th day of Top 14, was interrupted Saturday during a power outage caused by strikers opposed to the pension reform according to a tweet from the mayor of Agen Jean Dionis du Séjour.

"Scandalous! I have just had confirmation by EDF / ENEDIS that it was a wild cut! If the strikers continue like this, they will have the French and the French with them", wrote M. Dionis du Stay.

While the reigning French champion Toulouse had just taken the advantage for the first time in this Garonne derby (13-8), the Armandie stadium was plunged into darkness for 14 minutes following a power cut.

During this period, players from both teams were invited by referee Thomas Charabas to join the locker room.

The light returned after ten minutes and the match was able to resume and proceed without further incident until its end without the score changing.
