North Korea Chairman Kim "To discuss measures to further strengthen armed forces" December 22, 7:00
The North Korean state media reported on Tuesday that an expansion meeting of the party's Central Military Committee was held, attended by Kim Jong-un, chairman of the Korean Labor Party.
At a meeting, Kim stated that "we will discuss and decide on important measures to further strengthen the country's overall armed forces, including the People's Army of Korea."
"We discussed issues to continue accelerating and developing self-defense national defense," he said.
The state media, however, did not disclose the details of the meeting, nor did it mention its relations with the United States or nuclear and missile development.
