Liverpool won the Club World Cup for the first time in their history, beating Flamengo 1-0 after extra time on Saturday in Doha.
The European champions, beaten three times in the final in this competition, clinched their first world title in pain thanks to a late goal from Firmino (99th). Winners of the Champions League, the European Super Cup and current leader of the English Championship, the men of Jürgen Klopp thus conlude against the Brazilian club a superb year 2019.
