The head of the Court of Instruction number 5 of Alcalá de Henares has released the accused of killing Miriam Vallejo, 24, in Meco, considering that there is insufficient evidence for his complaint , sources of his defense have reported.
Sergio SM, who was arrested last August as the alleged perpetrator of the crime, will have to appear weekly in court and has been released this Friday without paying any bail.
Last September the Provincial Court of Madrid dismissed the appeal filed by the defense attorney and ratified the provisional prison issued by the court of Alcalá de Henares.
The defendant shared a flat with his girlfriend and the victim , who was killed with multiple stabs while walking with four dogs, one of his and three of Sergio SM
The defendant's arrest took place at a home in Azuqueca (Guadalajara), where agents also seized computer equipment , mobile phones and clothes to analyze in the laboratory in case there were biological remains of the victim.
