His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received in Abu Dhabi the President and CEO of the National Center for Pediatrics in Washington, Dr. Kurt Newman.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed cooperation relations and opportunities for their development between the center and its counterparts in the UAE, from medical centers and institutions and agencies concerned with the health sector, especially pediatrics, in order to support efforts to develop innovative health care technologies and researches concerned with children's health, as well as upgrading service standards All health provided to them.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the importance of partnership with international medical institutions, including the National Center for Pediatrics in Washington, especially that the results of research and its solutions contribute to the progress of mankind, and provide better treatment services for children.

In his tweet on Twitter, His Highness stressed the importance of supporting research and innovations related to child health, noting the efforts made by the American Center in this regard.

In turn, Kurt Newman thanked and appreciated the contributions made by the UAE to humanitarian and health situations around the world, pointing to the grant received by the National Center for Pediatrics at a value of $ 30 million, to contribute to the establishment of the Research and Innovation Complex at the center.
