In the past, grade 5 has gone to school, but now the whole school is participating in the Lucia celebration instead.
- It was difficult before for the smaller children to just sit still and watch the whole Lucia train, but now they are also involved and waiting with excitement for their turn to sing, says Ingrid Ivarson, headmaster.
The school is satisfied with the new way of celebrating, reactions have been lacking. But nothing is cut in stone - the traditional Lucia train can make a comeback.
- We have discussed it, that it may be a different grade then. The younger children tend to be more motivated, says Ingrid Ivarson.
