Dubai Hospital has successfully performed complex surgery to remove a congenital cyst from a patient's throat.
The surgery consultant, Dr. Yasser Amin Abdullatif, who performed the operation, explained to «Emirates Today» that despite the difficulty of the operation and the sensitivity of the area in which it was conducted, it did not leave any traces in its place, as it was done using binoculars technique.
Dr. Abdullatif said: “The patient arrived at Dubai Hospital with a birth defect in the throat area that had a negative impact on his life, as the hospital’s surgical team began conducting the necessary checks and analyzes. The outer wall of the throat, where the operation was successful, without any complications for the patient who left the hospital within 48 hours, and started his normal life.
