Farewell ceremony with Luzhkov ended in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior

The funeral of Luzhkov was made by the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill.

Earlier it was reported that the farewell ceremony was attended by Russian leader Vladimir Putin and Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

The funeral of the ex-mayor of the capital will be held at the Novodevichy cemetery on Thursday, December 12.

Luzhkov died on December 10 at the age of 83.
