A man has been sentenced to 33 life sentences in the United Kingdom for a series of crimes committed between April and May of this year. The case has caused a tremendous commotion in the country since Joseph McCann was released by mistake in February, when he was imprisoned for robbery.

This 34-year-old individual was found guilty of 37 crimes, including kidnapping and rape. In total there were eleven victims, aged between 11 and 71 years .

Judge Andrew Edis said that the convicted person is a "coward, a violent thug and a pedophile who has never expressed a word of regret or has worried about his victims."

In addition, he stressed that he is someone "completely obsessed with himself and believes that he has the right to use other people in any way he wishes."

"You are a classic psycho and I don't think you stop being dangerous," he concluded. McCann will spend at least the next 30 years of his life in prison, at which time his release could be considered.

The head of the United Kingdom probation service has apologized for the mistakes made in the 'McCann case' after it was discovered that the offender was released by mistake.

McCann's attacks began on April 21, when he kidnapped a 21-year-old woman at knife point in Watford. Four days later, he kidnapped two more women in North London and raped them repeatedly.

Subsequently, he assaulted a woman in his house and sexually assaulted his children, aged 11 and 17. Later, he raped a 71-year-old woman after attacking her when she got into her car.

His last victim was a 13-year-old girl, whom he also forced sexually before he managed to escape and warn the police, then sexually kidnapped and assaulted a 13-year-old girl in the car before escaping and alerting the police.
