Germany says no reason to lift sanctions against Russia

As the German Foreign Minister noted, Russia's contribution to "the search for peace in Ukraine is the key to improving relations between the European Union and Russia."

“People in eastern Ukraine have been waiting for peace for too long. At the moment, there is no reason to change the EU sanctions regime, ”the Foreign Ministry press service quoted the minister as saying.

Earlier, the vice-president of the Ukraine-EU Association committee, European Parliament deputy Viola von Cramon-Taubadel, said that there were no reasons for lifting the anti-Russian sanctions.

As noted in the Left faction in the German parliament, representatives of the political force will do everything possible to lift the European sanctions against Russia.
