A dead woman and another injured when being hit by a train in Cercedilla

One woman has died and another has been injured, with a moderate prognosis, after being hit by a train on the C-9 Cercanías line at kilometer 5 of the Cercedilla railroad, a spokesperson for Europa Press informed Emergencies 112 Community of Madrid .

The women, who are around 60 years old, went down in parallel to the railroad when the event took place , the deceased died practically on the spot, with severe craniocerebral trauma, so the health workers have only been able to confirm the death.

On the other hand, the other victim presented multiple bruises, has had to be rescued by the GERA and has been transferred to the University Hospital of La Paz by SUMMA 112 with a moderate prognosis. The Civil Guard has taken charge of the investigation to elucidate this event.
