Five people injured

According to a report broadcast by local news channels, five people were injured in the attack. The US Navy indicated on its Twitter account that the base had been placed in a state of containment.

Two days earlier, an American sailor had shot dead two people and injured a third on the shipyard at the Pearl Harbor military base. He then committed suicide. Several American military bases have been bereaved in recent years by soldiers caught in deadly madness.
