This was reported by TASS with reference to the press secretary of the diplomatic mission Sergey Novoseltsev.

“For all appeals received by the embassy of the ship’s crew members and the shipowner, assistance was promptly provided within the framework of the powers defined by Russian law,” the representative of the embassy said.

He added that Russian diplomats have been in contact with the shipowner - the Hudson company and the Singapore authorities since the start of the conflict.

He also added that due to the “burden” imposed on the Sevastopol vessel as part of the lawsuit, the shipowner was obliged to coordinate any actions regarding the vessel with representatives of the Singapore bailiffs service through a “new agent appointed by the court”.

Earlier, the port authorities of Singapore arrested the Russian ship Sevastopol, which fell under US sanctions, for debts.
