A Härnösandsbo resident at the age of 50 was sentenced on Friday by Ångermanland District Court for child pornography crimes and smuggling.

The crimes were discovered by Customs at Arlanda when they suspected a package addressed to Härnösandsbon. The package was found to contain a sex doll depicting a child. When police seized the man's computer, images with child pornographic content were found there.

"No sexual purpose"

Härnösandsbon defended himself in court by having previously sold several dolls that he imported, but none in child size. Just this doll had no sexual purpose but would be used in a piercing studio, he did not realize that the doll represented a child claimed the man.

"Post-Construction"

Ångermanland's district court cannot be persuaded by the man's reasoning; they see it as an exterior construction. The court sentenced the man for smuggling and child pornography offenses to conditional sentence and 60 daily fines of SEK 50.
